Project Summary

The Eco Backpacker showcased sustainability efforts through digtal storytelling and advised on technical eco-tourism initiatives.

I created long-form and short-form videos detailing the eco-lodges sustainability efforts over the course of their thirty-five years of operation. Efforts included on-site food production via permaculture techniques, educational support for the local community, development of a recycling program, a chemical-free swimming pool, habitat restoration and biodiversity enhancement. ​

Additionally, I advised the eco-lodge on possible eco-tourism certifications to pursue, off grid systems, permaculture systems and habitat restoration. ​
